3-year-old Swati Urgently Needs a Heart Surgery to Lead a Normal Life


3-year-old Swati Mishra is like any other baby her age. Restless and mischievous, a passing glance will not show anyone what a terrible condition she is suffering from. Swati has arterial septal disease, or a massive hole in her small heart. It means she has trouble breathing because her heart doesn't pump at full capacity. Swati heart condition was caught a few months back, when her father took her to a doctor for a mild but persistent cold and cough. Working on a strong suspicion, the doctors decided to conduct a heart echo test as they suspected a defect in her heart.Open-heart surgery is Swati's only option to surviveAfter many tests, the suspicion became real. What is worse is that the hole in Swati's heart is getting worse, and doctors recommend urgent open heart surgery at the earliest.
