
9-year-old Sthuti Chavhan dreads anything that has to do with hospitals. Because, once a week, her nose bleeds profusely. As soon as this happens, she has to be rushed to the hospital for a blood transfusion. Sthuti has aplastic anaemia, a condition in which the body stops producing new blood cells. Even the sight of the hospital entrance reduces her to tears.
