My Son Has Began To Learn Numbers By Counting The Medicines He Needs To Stay Alive


I live with my 3-year-old son Pavan and my husband. When my son was born I believed that our worst days were behind us. I had a wonderful, caring baby. His happiness was our happiness. He is the centre of our world. But within two years of his birth, I realised that the future holds a lot more sorrow for us and a normal life may not be the one for us.My 3-year-old baby is fighting a terrible condition for the past one year that no one I know has even heard of. I can't pronounce its name correctly, but my son Pavan and I know how cruel it is. My son has Agammaglobulinemia disorder meaning he has a very low level of protective immune system proteins called immunoglobins. The body makes every very little immunoglobin. As a result of which he develops, infections again and again.I have lived in extreme poverty and have been through a lot of painful times. My son swept away all my sorrows with his smile.
