Diwali is a time of celebration with the family, but Vanshika and her parents will always remember it as the day they got the worst news of their lives. 7-year-old Vanshika was diagnosed with blood cancer this year on Diwali, after her parents took her to the doctor for a fever. Vanshika needs six more cycles of chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant at the earliest to survive.She Only Had One Hour To Get Admitted And Start Treatment Before Her Condition WorsenedVanshika’s father, Sanjay, remembers that she was at first diagnosed with dengue when they took her to the doctor. Just a few weeks later, the doctors asked Sanjay to get her admitted in a hospital at the earliest.
